A Win is a Win

Not sure how we won. Not sure if we should have won. But we did.

  1. Gotta say the officiating throughout the Big 12 was pathetic today. So CU is a little better than Iowa St. who almost did this feat at Kansas last week. Nope, CU didn't deserve this win but it does show that Hawkins can watch tape to see what worked for the Cyclones....regardless, it's now.... 2-4. Great Record. woo hooo Give Hawk another extension.

  2. Yeah, win just enough, play tough just enough to stick around for another year. Let's give him a raise with that extension. We're still 2-4. It's fine to be excited and proud of the win (shouldn't have stormed the field though), but it's sad when people get so excited about being 2-4. This isn't a BCS title.

  3. As a 1994 CU grad, I'm pretty disappointed with the whiny posts on this board complaining about Coach Hawkins. So, our football program isn't doing as well as you'd like. Big deal. Get a life. Coach Hawkins doesn't deserve this crap and the whiny beaches on this board make me ashamed I went to school with some of you clowns.

  4. Unfortunately, CU fans are widely regarded as some of the worst fans in FBS. How can you argue when our fans manage pathetic message boards such as this. Coach Hawkins may very well be fired at the end of the year if he continues to struggle as coach, but he doesn't deserve this crap. I feel really sad for the people posting on this board with so much hate. You're pathetic.

  5. Whoever is managing this website needs to get laid, badly.

  6. I feel sorry for whomever decided to post twice posing as two different people. We need to get a life? Please. This website is necessary to voice concerns that our coach has been here for 4 years and has made very little progress, except in the area of helping his son's stats and chances of becoming a coach himself one day. A coach with a selfish agenda is something that needs to be brought to the attention of everyone who is proud to call themselves a Buffalo. Maybe you are content with a shitty football team who wouldn't be able to beat a high school team, but I and many others are not. CU taught me to never settle for anything but the very best, therefore I won't. Coach Hawkins does deserve this because he's only been looking out for himself and not the fans, alumni and students of this great school. You, sir, are pathetic if you're willing to sit idly by and watch a once proud program be dragged through the mud and be reduced down to Division 2 level. Get off your high horse and wake up.

  7. I love how not even his supporters can defend Hawkins' incompetence, so they just resort to making ad hominem attacks against me. Thanks for letting me know I'm doing something right.

  8. Hilarious! A poster who sought this site out... to complain about the 'whiny' posts. A 'big man' eh? Well, Puff-n-stuff the reality is that CU is pathetic this year due to the inept coaching, lackluster play and unbridled bias in using his son .vs. use a true D1 QB. He scripted this poor opening and it'll get worse this weekend at K-State. I'd say 45-17 and we'll see a bunch more jump on the bandwagon.
