We want to like you. You're a nice guy and your press conferences are right up there with Mike Gundy and Herm Edwards. But sadly, the type of coaching and recruiting it takes to get mediocre players to beat other mediocre players doesn't work against the good ones. Everyday you remain head coach does further damage to our recruiting and prestige, not to mention the damage to your players' careers. Please, just end the suffering.

I will not sign the petition! This is a fine coach and mentor for CU athletes. Regardless of how he does on the field is no reason to fire someone. Dan Hawkins has greatness in him and will continue to be the coach for CU. If the players were just up to the task he presents them with maybe they'd be successful.

Gotta disagree with you, but speaking of fine coaches and mentors, I was a big fan of Bill Callahan when he was in Nebraska. Can't believe they fired the guy. Anyone that stuck a "For Sale" sign in that great coach's lawn should be ashamed!
