Sorry Danny Boy
We want to like you. You're a nice guy and your press conferences are right up there with Mike Gundy and Herm Edwards. But sadly, the type of coaching and recruiting it takes to get mediocre players to beat other mediocre players doesn't work against the good ones. Everyday you remain head coach does further damage to our recruiting and prestige, not to mention the damage to your players' careers. Please, just end the suffering.

ReplyDeleteAndy, Please take your site down. If you're such a negative fan, find another team, loser. Buffs won last week. Your pathetic petition is not going to do anything. Hawk signed an extension last year.
ReplyDeleteHawk Fan, get out and take your loser coach and quarterback with you. Hawkins was given an extension by an indept AD who happens to be a fan of losing. Colorado has a rich tradition of WINNING, therefore there is no place for "Hawk Love" and his losing ways, extension or not. Dan Hawkins is a joke and is clearly out of his element playing in a big boys league. In other words, EAT SHIT.

ReplyDeleteIn case you weren't aware, Hawk is a very good coach and is turning this program around from a point when it was at rock bottom after the recruiting scandal. He has won everywhere he has coached. His players believe in him and his system, and true fans do, too. Your sad petition is only hurting the program by bringing unnessary negative attention. He's not going anywhere anytime soon.

ReplyDeleteYeah, he's won everywhere..... everywhere except COLORADO. 14 wins in just over 3 years is pathetic and what is worse is there is no sign of improvement on the field. Giving up over 600 yards to Toledo? TOLEDO!?! Are you kidding me? Just where do you see this program improving (and don't give me any of this off the field BS and "recruiting scandal" excuses)? The true fans want to win; you're a loser who has just learned to accept mediocrity. Enjoy your 3-4 wins per year with this idiot on the sideline (along with all the athletes on the team while the 2nd and 3rd string is playing).
