CU Loses Again

Is it wrong that I'm glad CU lost? Is it wrong that I think the worst thing that could happen for Colorado football is to beat Nebraska in 2 weeks? Tell me I'm wrong, but I think I'm right.

  1. No, you're not wrong. This bunch is going to get drilled on short rest in Stillwater. The last short rest game they had this year was Toledo, and we all know how that turned out. Last I checked Toledo was 4-6, OSU, 7-2. However, if CU beats Nebraska by some miracle on the 27th, it will give the administration reason to assert he's got the program going in the right direction and he deserves another year. News flash: Nothing is going to change. At this point, it's not a talent issue, it's all about the coaching. Bring someone in that can actually coach and prove what a good recruiter Dan Hawkins is.

  2. I agree. Even Bohn should start distancing himself after today's debacle.

  3. You are wrong. Beating Nebraska is NEVER a bad thing. Plus one more win will not save Hawkins job. So cheer for your team.

  4. It's the curse of Ward Churchill striking the little crybaby Boulderites again. Maybe CU should petition to be admitted to the WAC where you could maybe, maybe finish with a .500 season.

  5. The real question isn't whether beating NU would be a bad thing or not. It's what could CU possibly do to think they could beat NU.

Sure, NU's offense sucks and the defense will have fun with them but NU's defense will demolish this offense. If I were Tyler I'd give the job back to Cody because this line can't protect anyone. Matter of fact I wouldn't be surprised to hear of more player defections, who'd want to play for this 2-7 team? Especially after another road trip loss and probably 'Big' loss to OSU. Who'd want to even make the trip? Might as well just get on with the rest of their lives.

  6. This debacle couldn't happen to a better bunch of classless fans than CU fans. I'm afraid that you are simply getting what the bulk of you fans deserve.

    You gotta love Karma baby!

  7. I would never root for the Buffs to lose a game--especially when it comes to Nebraska...I've been a fan since the sixties and what has been happening these last several years is beyond reproach..... If Hawkins isn't man enough to resign and Bohn in principal hasn't the backbone to send him packing, then CU will wallow in the mire for years to come....... What say you BUFF fans/

  8. Go Huskers! At least they have a program that is trying to return to greatness. CU is done, they should fire the coach, and AD.

  9. For sure our poor Buffs will lose to OSU, but I never will want to see them lose to the retarded Huskers!!! I really feel for the seniors on this team, only going to one bowl game has really gotta hurt. All we can do now is look forward, and hope that things can turn around. I'm really tired of all the negatives that are happening, next season our Buffs will recieve some BIG targets are WR in Jordan Darden and Terdema Ussery (both about 6'4") and they also have some speed to them. Sure it sucks that we might have to be stuck with Hawk love for another season, but lets make the most of it and support the players, they need us!!!

  10. Titus in Kansas city posted a pretty good one about Hawkins getting fired. It's really worth a look.
